How to submit your website to FREE Web Directories.

Free manual submission directory listings.
We hope you can appreciate that this section represents allot of work finding and compiling this many top free and reciprocal Search Directory's into one place!

Every one of these directories we have personally reviewed and decided to submit our own websites to their editor review and directory listing. That is how this project began and as it grew in time and intensity we realized the value of being able to find all these resources in one well designed and easy to use directory location. We built this section with that in mind wishing we had found something like this to start with. We hope this saves you a lot of time and generates some very good directory listing resources for you too.

In our research we have discovered over 5000 directories. We will continue to add to this section until it reaches around 700 to 1000 of the best of them. We will also continue to keep them current and valid so be sure to come back often for fresh directory, webmaster tools 'n tips resources.

Who would want to use this list?
Just about anyone who wants to build up ethical legitimate incoming links and traffic to their website. Those who see the need for alternative traffic building resources and do not or can not place all their hopes for traffic in the 5 major se crawlers. If you are in this for the long haul and want to build permanent depth and expansion to your website linking and traffic potential then directory listings are probably for you too.

Here are some good tips on how to use this resource list.

Implement systematic organic linking strategies.
Please keep in mind that as you build both outgoing and incoming links for your website it is best practice to do it with a gradual "organic" process on a weekly or monthly schedule Take your time. Select the sites and category's that best fit your web site and your purpose of linking to and from them.

Find out what your major se metacrawler "cycle" time is and use the free tools provided to add a suggested crawl cycle into your web page meta tag header section. We have provided a full array of webmaster tools 'n tips for your use in discovering these issues, finding the resources and developing the skills you will need to accomplish this and many other key elements of effective and simple website design.

See the big picture, get organized, committed.
Set a weekly or monthly goal and then set aside the appropriate amount of time that will be needed to realistically meet that goal. In the beginning it will take you longer to review and list your site but as you get more experienced and organized you will cut your time per listing considerably. There is no fast way out. There is no guaranteed "get rich quick" fast linking formula. In the end it is good design, meaningful content and hard work that will most likely pay off some day. But isn't that how it is in real life? . . . and guess what . . . the web is real life too!

Create a "notepad" text file with your basic info in it.
We have learned this from my own "bad experience". Do not type your info directly into their web forms as it is way too easy to make a typo that is severe and you may not even notice it. Many of the forms will auto fill from your first (and last) entry and replicate your typo into every new directory submission you make for that browser work session. This is a really good way to get rejected or even worse "blacklisted" as a waste of their human editors time.

Here is a better way to organize your info and get it entered correctly. Create a simple "notepad" (or any other non style fomatted type text file program) that contains all your essential basic information - such as . . .

• Title, Keywords, Description, URL, Name, Email address

You can then continuously copy and paste this critical info into their submission web forms quickly and accurately.
