Because of my technical support and training background I tend to look at your website from a completely different viewpoint than a designer or graphic artist. I have discovered that in order to get good organic search engine returns one must build the website from the foundation up with that goal in mind.
Once the SEO foundation is there the website can be creatively "wrapped" in an attractive visual package. Because of my extensive background in desktop publishing I work well with digital graphics and digital photographic images. Selecting, cropping, sizing, optimizing, building custom photo galleries, backgrounds, headers, banners, simple flash elements are my specialty.
I have found the blend of these two skill areas fundamental for the success of local / regional sites to effectively communicate their unique visual message.
